Sara W. Reale, 64, of Mayville, died Wednesday Sept. 17, 2025, peacefully at her home.
She was born Jan. 25, 1961, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Dr. Irving and Frances Goldinger Wolinsky.
A 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia.
Sara was employed by the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau. She earlier had worked for The Ringling Museum in Sarasota, FL, the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, and the Fenton History Center. She was a member of the Fenton Historical Society and enjoyed being a tour guide at Lake View Cemetery for the Saints and Sinners event. In addition, Sara loved to decorate for the holidays, especially for Christmas and Halloween. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, wife, sister, and friend.
Surviving is a daughter Lauren R. Reale of Riverview, FL; two brothers James A. Wolinsky of The Villages, FL and Steven B. Wolinsky of Sarasota, FL; a sister Helene D. Wolinsky of Burbank, CA and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David A. Reale; a son Michael J. Reale and a brother Norman S. Wolinsky.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received from noon to 2 pm Monday.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Fenton History Center.
