Philip M. Eimers

Philip M. Eimers, 73, of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Sherman, New York, passed away at his home on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. Phil entered hospice care on August 12, 2025. He was born on Dec.12, 1951, son of the late Allen E. Eimers & Ruth H. Noble Eimers. He was the loving husband of Pat Seiberg Eimers. They shared 33 wonderful years together and 5 days short of celebrating their 25 wedding anniversary on Sept 9. Phil was enlisted in the Army for six years serving two of those years in Germany Jan 21,1971 was discharged on Jan 20,1977. He worked with heavy equipment all his life. He owned his own crane service from 1998 to 2003 called Phil’s Crane Service. Then he moved to Florida where he continued to operate cranes until his retirement in 2021. Phil also worked part time at Publix at the Golden Acres location after he retired. Phil was a member of the VFW in Mayville, New York.

Besides his beloved wife Pat, Phil is survived by his three children, Stephanie (Barry) Seekings of Sherman, NY, Allen (Hillary) Eimers of Middleburg, FL, Georgianne (Tom) Dorman of Jamestown, NY, and a stepdaughter Jennifer (Billy) Eschenbach of Sherman, NY. Four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one great grandchild, three step great grandchildren. Brother David Eimers of Mayfield, PA, sister’s Sue Gambino of Westfield, NY and Lori Barefoot of Myrtle Beach, SC. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Phil was preceded in death by his parents Allen & Ruth Eimers, son Philip M. Eimers II, Feb. 7, 1994, brother Allen (Butch) E. Eimers Jr, Jan. 7, 1981 sister-in-law, Nancy Eimers April 4,2020 brother-in-law Jack Gambino Jan. 28, 2024 and the mother of his four children Jean M. Eimers April 26, 2011.

A celebration of Phil’s life will be held in the summer of 2026 in NY. Date to be announced at a later time.
