Lois A. Carlson

Lois A. Carlson, 84, of Frewsburg, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025 at home.

She was born on May 8, 1941 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Snyder Carlson.

Lois was a graduate of Jamestown High School and earned her associates degree in business administration accounting from Jamestown Business College.

Prior to retiring in 1994, she was employed as an accountant at American Locker Group.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and one of many things she will be remembered for is her love and passion for her dogs.

Lois is survived by a son, Todd F. Carlson; a daughter, Jodel L. Carlson; three grandchildren: Jada, Kayla, and Ashley Carlson; two great-grandchildren: Kameronn Smith and Keizer Carlson; and a brother, Robert R. Carlson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin J. “Frank” Carlson, who passed away on Dec. 21, 2024; a son Jon S. Carlson, who passed away on Aug. 15, 2020; a grandson Jon Eric Carlson, who passed away in 1997; two sisters: Carol Dallas and Kathy S. Carlson; and a brother Kenneth R. Buck.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
