Lindsay Eden Jones

Lindsay Eden Jones
Lindsay Eden Jones, 48, of Bemus Point, NY, peacefully yet unexpectedly passed away in her home on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025. She was born in Jamestown, NY on July 25, 1977, to Dr. Gregory L. and Susan K. Sandbloom Jones.
Lindsay was a 1995 graduate of Maple Grove High School and earned her accounting degree from Jamestown Community College thereafter.
A vibrant soul who appreciated vast landscapes, Lindsay adored the 18 years she spent in Salt Lake City, UT. Feeling the pull to be closer to family, she made her way back home. She enjoyed her role at Northwest Bank as a personal banker. Lindsay truly cared for her customers and coworkers, many of whom became close friends.
The outdoors was a natural embrace for Lindsay’s heart. She took many trips to her parents’ home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; yet, Sunday boat rides with her family and dogs made her just as grateful.
Lindsay absolutely loved the game of golf. Many partners cherished rounds with her joyous spirit. Additionally, she rooted for Syracuse basketball and football. Whether it was watching on tv or going to multiple games in person, her fandom for The Big Orange was known by all. She also did her diligence to Western NY in always supporting the Buffalo Bills.
A long-time friend of Rotary through her parents’ involvement, Lindsay was a Paul Harris Fellow and enjoyed highway cleanup.
Formerly, Lindsay joined her parents in their Friday night dinner group with the Horrigans and Meckleys. Together, they dined and laughed around endless tables of compassion.
Lindsay’s inspirational energy will be deeply missed by her parents, Dr. Gregory L. and Susan K. Jones of Bemus Point, NY; her brother, Matthew (Michelle) Jones of Ashville, NY; her nieces, Hannah (Stephen) Haag of Parma, OH and Haley (partner Philippe Recalt) Jones of Enfield, NH; her great-niece, Eliza Haag; her aunts, Marcia Jones Stafford and Deborah Sandbloom Montana; many dear cousins; her next door neighbors, the Traynor family; and her dear chihuahua, Arthur Elliot Jones.
Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd and Ruth Sandbloom and Stanford and Hazel Jones; her aunts, Susan Jones Boulay and Jeryl Sandbloom Stearns; as well as her dear chihuahua, Penelope Duncan Jones.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 4-7pm Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. A brief service will follow at 7 pm.
Lindsay’s memory may be kept alive through donations to the charity of one’s choice.
