Thomas Seraphim Depas, 94, of Ashland, VA formerly of Jamestown, NY passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born on December 18, 1930 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Seraphim and Athena Stavredon Depas.
Tom attended Jamestown High School and served in the US Navy on the USS Midway from December 1950-1954. He retired from Chautauqua Hardware.
Tom lived on Chautauqua Lake for many years where he enjoyed boating, fishing, and entertaining. He took joy in gardening and attending to his many fruit trees in his beautiful backyard. He also loved tinkering in his garage. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Yankees fan.
Tom is survived by his companion of 43 years, Patricia Triscari (Burnett), His 3 sons Charles (Terry), Steven and Bruce Depas and 4 stepdaughters; Marnie, Jamie, Trisha and Richelle Triscari.
In addition to his parents, Tom is proceeded in death by his 4 brothers; Chris, Gust, Simon and William Depas. 3 sisters; Mary, Franny, Martha.
In memory of Tom, donations may be made to the local veterans support group of your choice.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Wed, August 6 at 2pm at the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association on Boulevard Ave in Celoron, NY where Tom was a lifetime member.
Honor Guard will be at 3pm by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 865.
