Sharron Shade

Sharron was the widow of Donald Shade whom she married Nov. 23, 1990 and who died Oct. 28, 2022.

She was born in Jamestown Nov. 20, 1947, one of three daughters of the late Lloyd G. and Helen Nielsen Aldrich. Before retirement Sharron was a self-employed hairdresser in Clymer for many years.

Surviving is a daughter, Leslie Tedrow of Portersville, PA, and a son, Shane Wassink of Clymer; five grandchildren, Brenden and Kendyl Plutnicki, Alexis, Hunter and Roman Wassink, and Danielle (Rob) Thomas of Groveland, FL; two sisters, Lynn Aldrich of Buena Vista, CO and Darlene Swan of Jamestown; a step-brother, Tom Shade of Haines City, FL; and great-granddaughters, Mya and Madison; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brian Tedrow in 2023.

A celebration of Sharron’s life will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 in fellowship hall of Kidder Memorial Methodist Church, 381 S. Main St., Jamestown.

The family suggests memorials be made to a Veterans organization of one’s choice.
