Rosanne Clark

Rosanne Clark, 88, of North Port, FL and Lakewood, NY, passed away Friday Aug. 1, 2025, in her home.

A native of Jamestown, she was born May 16, 1937, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Spoto Sinatra.

Rosanne attended school in Jamestown and graduated in 1955 with honors. She furthered her education and received her certification as laboratory technician in 1957. She then worked at Jamestown General Hospital until moving in 1960 to Drexel Hill, PA where she was employed by Dr. J. Louis Wilkerson. Rosanne returned to her hometown in 1965 working as a volunteer for the General Hospital, YWCA, and Little Theater. She served as chairperson of two General Hospital charity balls and co-chair of the YWCA golf tournament. In 1970 she was employed at the office of Robert G. Ney and Lillian Vitanza Ney as a medical technologist until her retirement in 1995.

Rosanne was married in 1973 to the love of her life, Gary Clark, and became an instant mother to three children,Tammy, Sherrie and Randy, whom she dearly loved.

In 1998, she and Gary retired to North Port, Florida. They spent winters in Florida and summers in Jamestown. As a resident of Lazy River Village in Florida, Rosanne served on the volunteer committee and participated in their many fundraisers. She was a beautiful, energetic, and vibrant woman who loved spending time with her family and friends as well as many activities such as bowling, golfing and taking daily walks.

She is survived by her husband Gary Clark, daughters, Tammy (Todd) Annis and Sherrie Cleland both of Frewsburg and her son Randy Clark of Texas; five grandchildren Tyler (Monica) Annis, Trever Annis, Katie (Liz) Cleland, Cody Cleland, and Sierra Clark; three great grandchildren, Ember and Aella Annis, and McLachlan Barone; four siblings Dr. Charles (Nancy) Sinatra, Linda (William) McGee and James Sinatra (Debbie Paddock) all of Jamestown and JoAnn (Jim) Jarrett of Frewsburg.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends who have enriched her life with joy and beauty.

In keeping with Rosanne’s wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
