Martha J. Strom, 73, of 74 Lakin Ave., went to her Lord Thursday evening, Aug. 14, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Warren, Pa. June 3, 1952, a daughter of the late LaVerne and Mildred Edwards Anderson, attended Eisenhower High School and graduated from Frewsburg Central School.
Martha was employed as a clinical billing secretary by The Resource Center and later as office manager of WCA Hospital’s Department of Psychology.
Martha loved the Lord. She adored her children and grandchildren and watching each one of them grow. She was a wonderful baker particularly known for her pies.
Surviving is her husband, Steven V. Strom, whom she married August 7, 1982; four children: Stephen Swegles, Kristi (Eric) Chapman, and Matthew Strom all of Jamestown, and Kelsey (Andrew) Laury of Lakewood; and five grandchildren: Tyler Swegles, Mason and Cole Chapman, and Ivan and Emma Laury. Also surviving are four siblings: Sharon Peterson, Jim (Irma) Anderson, Kathy (Don) Kuczenski, and Sue (Brian) Marsh.
A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22nd in the Lind Funeral Home, led by Rev. Mark Hinman.
