John Massey

John attended Jamestown school and was employed by Watson’s until his retirement.

John dedicated his life to his Lord, his church, to helping others, and to his cats.

John is survived by his cousins, Jim (Anna) Awald, Janice (Awald) King of North Carolina and Robert (Linda) Warren of Florida; his longtime friends, Lori and Jim Foti; and his best friend, Peter (his cat).

He is preceded in death by his parents, (Big) John and Theresa (Awald) Massey; an infant brother, Robert; and an infant sister, Joan.

The family would like to thank Absolut of Westfield for their wonderful care as well as his long-term care givers, Lori, Connie and Dave.

The memorial service for John will be at 11:00am Wednesday, Aug. 6 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10-11am at Lind’s.
