Esther L. Mitchell Iaquinto

Born July 6, 1929 in Martins Ferry, OH she is the daughter of the late John S. and Rebecca McCann Mitchell.

She was a graduate of South Hills High School, Pittsburgh, PA in 1947 and Ohio Valley School of Nursing, Steubenville, OH in 1953 receiving her degree as an RN.

Esther was employed at Fairmont Emergency Hospital as a night supervisor, Fairmont Hospital as an RN and completed her nursing career as head nurse at Rochester General Hospital.

She also assisted her husband Eugene with Free Methodist Church pastoral appointments at; Mt. Pleasant, PA, Beulah,PA, McClellandtown, Aliquippa, PA, Harper, WV, Newcumberland, WV, Cove Run in Lemont Furnace, PA and Brocton, NY. and was a member of various Free Methodist Churches including Cove Run and Gerry.

Loving wife of 66 years to Pastor Eugene Iaquinto who she married Mar. 26, 1956 and who died Oct. 23, 2021; devoted mother of Brenda Iaquinto of Falconer; sister of Loretta Mitchell of Gerry and preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, Sept. 6, at Heritage Village Rehab Auditorium, 4570 Route 60, Gerry., Private burial in Gerry Cemetery.
