Dylan I. Bush

Dylan I. Bush

Dylan Isaac Bush, 25, of Jamestown, passed away following an automobile mechanic accident on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Jamestown on Oct. 19, 1999.

Dylan lived life the way he wanted: to the fullest and on his own terms. Following high school graduation, he graduated from NASCAR tech school in Mooresville, NC with a mechanics degree. Tanner’s Garage was his occupational home, helping others at the drop of a hat.

The gruff exterior Dylan maintained led to an inner huge heart. His vivacious spirit held compassion for others; honestly, he was a fierce family person, doting on his nephews and his stepdaughter Lylah, and rough housing with his sister, Amelia, much to her delight. Animals nuzzled into his heart, too, as he was forever holding the family cat, Henry, and cuddling with their late dog, Missy Mae.

Somewhat of a recluse in a good way, Dylan enjoyed fishing, camping, and kayaking. He always looked forward to Go Kart and motorcycle rides and races with family. He played softball up until the day of his passing and always looked forward to watching football with family.

Dylan’s remarkable life will forever be cherished by his parents, Mark and Jen Bush; his siblings, Candace, Toby, and Amelia; his nephews, Tatdem and Brennex Warner, his partner, Tiffany Parsons and her daughter, Lylah; his best friend, Brian Turk, his uncles, Rich Johnson, Rich (Jeanna) Hartmann, Kenny Wood, and Linnie Wood; his grandmas, Donna Bush, Charlene Loveless, and Carmen Card; his grandpa, Richard “DJ” Johnson; his cousins, Josef, Buggie, Summer, Storm, April, Mandy, Raymond and Shondell Hartmann;his Tennessee family including his aunt and uncle, PJ and Tasha Flowers, his grandparents,Judy and Ken Green, and his cousins, Judith, Chandler, Kennith, Bethany, Jamison, and the late London; as well as his favorite teacher who understood him, Mrs. Geisler.

In keeping with Dylan’s wishes, no formal visitation or services will be observed. The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
