Sue K. Coffaro

She was born on Dec. 10, 1951, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Harold and Phillis Lovejoy. She graduated JHS in 1971, and after a brief period in LA, returned to Jamestown where she met her husband, Bruce Coffaro, whom she married in 1988. Together they raised two children, Sara and Daniel.

Sue dedicated her life to rescuing animals. Saving and improving countless lives both animal and human. To this end she worked as an animal cruelty officer and founded the non-profit new leash on life. She also ran her own business menagerie pet grooming.
