Matthew Carlson

He was born June 6, 1972, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Dale and Elizabeth Howell Carlson.

Matt was a 1991 graduate of Jamestown High School.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his friends and family hunting and fishing, along with working on his vehicles with his son. Matt was a member of the Boy Scouts in his youth.

Matt was employed at Jamestown Container Company for short time after being a truck driver most of his professional career.

Surviving is his son Jacob (Gabriela) Carlson of Jonesborough, Tennessee, his granddaughter Ila Carlson of Jonesborough, Tennessee and his Brother Michael (Michael) Carlson of Fayette, Maine.

There will be no visitation or service at this time, a small informal gathering will be announced by the family at a later date.
