Martha “Marty” Mack Campbell

Martha “Marty” Mack Campbell

Martha “Marty” Mack Campbell, age 82 of Warren, PA passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, following a courageous 13-year journey with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was surrounded by the love of her family – the greatest joy of her life.

Born on Aug. 24, 1942, in Warren, PA, Martha was a woman of deep faith, fierce love, and joyful spirit. She met the love of her life, Richard Campbell, at Blueberry Hill Golf Course in Scandia, PA and together they built a beautiful life during their more than 60 years of marriage. Their love story was filled with laughter, devotion, and the shared joy of raising two children and delighting in their four grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life.

Martha dedicated her career to public service, working in the finance department at the Warren National Bank and later working in the Fiscal Department of the Warren County Courthouse. She also gave her time generously to her community and her church in Scandia as a Sunday School teacher and in retirement, reading to the ladies at the Watson Home – a calling she truly cherished.

With a sassy sense of humor and a warm, fun-loving heart, Martha had the gift of making people feel deeply loved and joyfully seen. She found beauty in simple pleasures: a good laugh, a sweet hug from a grandchild, listening to a church hymn, her favorite “In the Garden”. Friends and family knew her intense love to collect milk glass and decorate with sunflowers!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Campbell, siblings: Marie Barney, Robert Mack, Samuel Mack, Ruth Buvoltz, her parents George & Margaret Mack and a grandson, Aristotle Cheronis. She is survived by her children; Scott (Linda) Campbell and Christine (James) Cheronis; her grandchildren; Nicholas (Alexandria) Campbell, Jessie (James) Campbell, Alexandra Cheronis and Christian Cheronis and her great grandchild, Kieran as well as her extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donation be made in Martha’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, The Rouse Estate or the Warren County Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff of the Rouse Suites Memory Care, the Rouse Home, Hospice of Warren County, Warren General Hospital Emergency Room staff, Warren General Hospital third floor nurses station for their love and care of Martha throughout her years of living with Alzheimer’s.

Though Alzheimer’s took her memory, it never dimmed her spirit. Her faith, her love, and her laughter will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she touched. So, to remember her fondly, whenever you come across a sunflower, smile – and give a little nod to Martha.

Services for Martha will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
