John J. Greenland, Jr.
John J. Greenland, Jr., 71, of 203 King Street, died Sunday July 20, 2025, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
He was born Mar. 31, 1954, in Jamestown, a son of the late John and Jean Perry Greenland, Sr.
Following graduation from Jamestown High School he was employed by the City of Jamestown as a housing inspector.
He was an avid fan of football, baseball and NASCAR. More than anything he enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters Nicole (Dan) Nickerson and Megan Greenland both of Jamestown; five grandchildren Matthew Greenland, Kayla Nickerson, Gianna Nickerson, Cayson Ramos and Jealynn Ramos; a brother Tom (Connie) Greenland of Jamestown; a sister Kathy (Scott) Greenland of Warren, PA and several nieces and nephews
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by infant twin sisters.
The funeral will be held at 6 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received from 4-6 pm Thursday.
