Joan Lee Sandquist (Easton), 92, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on Apr. 6, 1933, in Nunda, New York, Joan was the daughter of Helen M. Jones and Earl L.Easton. She was also raised by her stepfather, David G. Jones.
She grew up in Celoron, NY and graduated from Southwestern Central High School in Jamestown, New York in 1950.
She married her high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” W. Sandquist Aug. 4,1950.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Sandquist (Donna), Anne Whitlock (Bill), and Dawn Austin (Alan); 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and her brother:David E. Jones (Linda).
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob; sister Dawn Anderson; mother HelenJones; father Earl Easton; stepfather David G. Jones; and grandson Andrew Whitlock.
A graveside service will be held on July 28, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Lakeview Cemetery, 907 Lakeview Ave, Jamestown, NY.
