Jeanette M. Armstrong, 80, of Falconer passed away Monday (July 21, 2025) in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing in Greenhurst.
A lifelong area resident she was born Aug. 3, 1944 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late William J. and Mary D. Koresko Korcyl.
Jeanette attended Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed by Eckloff’s Bakery. Prior to retirement she was employed by Falconer Central School and Randolph American Legion. Jeanette also served as a caregiver and baby sister for her nephew Chris and niece Johnna during their childhood years.
She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Holy Apostles Parish, Randolph American Legion and Henry Mosher Post American Legion Auxiliaries, and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. Jeanette enjoyed socializing with family and friends, playing cards, cooking, and cleaning.
Surviving is her sister Elaine (John) Conti of Jamestown; nephews/ nieces: Chris (Michele) Conti,Johnna Conti Guido (Paul Guido); Becky Kubera, James (Janice) Armstrong; and a great niece Daya Conti.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Dennis” Armstrong whom she married Apr. 27, 1968 in the former Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, who died Mar. 8, 2014.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John’s Catholic Church, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
