Earl F. Onoratti

He was born in Lackawanna, New York, On March 21, 1936, the son of the late Felix and Louise Salizoni Onoratti. Earl was a graduate of Brockway High School. Earl relocated to Sinclairville, NY, and was employed with American Sterilizer Company, where he worked for 24 years. In 1985, he and his wife moved to Warren where he worked in the family business at the Peppermill Restaurant. You could always find him in the dining room conversing with customers, many of which became lifelong friends. Earl was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. Earl was a member of the Warren American Legion Post 135, the Warren Eagles Aerie 313, and the Kalbfus Club where he enjoyed targetshooting. Earl was also an avid hunter and fishermen in his earlier years. In 1957, in Winchester, Virginia, he married the former Dorothy “Dot” Smith, and they spent 61 loving years together before she passed on Feb. 8, 2019.

Earl is survived by his son, David Onoratti and wife Nancy of Warren;four grandchildren, Mike Onoratti and fiance Ryleigh Wholeben,Tiffany Waddle and husband Wade, Angela Onoratti, and Andrew Onoratti and wife Cayla, Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Keith Waddle, Nash and Harper Seyler, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and his wife, Dot, Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Jim Onoratti of Brockway, PA.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through a charity of one’s choice.
