William J. Buck

William J. Buck, 66, of 303 W. Fifth St., died Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born June 4, 1958, in Jamestown, a son of Eleanor Nichols.

While living in Dallas, TX, for several years, Bill enjoyed his work as a car mechanic and later as a skilled self-employed contractor. After moving back to Jamestown, he was employed at Hope’s Windows.

Bill was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, even adventuring a cross-country ride across the United States and back. He could be found any day at the Riverwalk enjoying a Tim Horton’s coffee while feeding the ducks. His mother will forever cherish the quality time Bill spent with her and her younger brother (Uncle Ken) chauffeuring them throughout our area as they reminisced about their younger years. Bill will be fondly remembered for his generous nature.

Surviving is his mother of Lakewood; sister Cynthia Vullo of Ashville; nieces and nephews of whom he was extremely proud of Jason, Shauna and Zachary Buck, Melissa McKinney and Kiana Vullo as well as several great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded by his step-father, Dale Gantz, who helped raise him, (Dec. 20, 2005), brother Terrence Buck (Aug. 12, 2010), brother Jeffrey Buck (Nov. 15, 1995), brother-in-law Clement (CJ) Vullo (Nov. 15, 2024), and niece Suzanne Buck (Feb. 22, 2016).
