Samuel Charles D’Angelo Jr.

Samuel “Sammy” “Bubbs” Charles D’Angelo, Jr., 46, of Henderson, NV., passed away on May 30, 2025, at Nathan Adelson Hospice Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Sammy was born on June 27, 1978, in Jamestown to Samuel and Donna Norton D’Angelo.

After graduating from Jamestown High School in 1996, he went on to study Sports Management at SUNY Oneonta where he received a scholarship to play college Soccer. He later transferred to continue his education at the University of South Carolina where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. After graduation, Sammy moved to Florida where he worked for the Florida Marlins. He later decided to pursue his dream of acting and moved to Los Angeles, CA and later to Las Vegas, NV.

With a big personality and an even bigger smile, he loved his family and friends fiercely. He was an avid sports fan. Soccer was his first love, but he also excelled in Basketball and Baseball. He followed all University of South Carolina sports teams and always wore his Gamecocks hat.

Surviving besides his parents are his sisters, Diane Cummings and Jillian D’Angelo and his nephews, James and Jaxon Cummings.

Sammy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosemary and Warren Norton; his paternal grandparents, John and Betty D’Angelo; step grandmothers Barbara D’Angelo and Shirley Norton and his brother-in-law, Kurt Cummings.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
