Robert C. Turner

He was born Dec. 11, 1969, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Patricia Bess Sharp and the late W. L. “Willie” Turner. Soon after he was born his family relocated to Jamestown where Robbie attended Jamestown High School.

Robbie was employed at McDonalds in Jamestown where he worked as a cook for several years.

He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing in his golf league with his brother Shawn.

Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Jessica Greenwalt Turner whom he married June 21, 2005; his four children: Ashley, Robert Jr., Amber, and Aaron James; his brother Rashawn (Lenna) Turner; stepfather Donald Sharp; his aunts: Joyce Bess and Catherine Harrison and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his father he is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Nell Bess, Uncle James “Bert” Bess and his aunt Sherdena Brackman.

The funeral will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday June 24, 2025, at Blackwell Chapel AME Zion Church.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 pm on Monday in the Lind Funeral Home.
