Paul Joseph Mason

He was born on October 28, 1931 in Jamestown, a son of the late John and Rose Blashaw Mason.

Paul was a graduate of Falconer High School and was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War.

He was a member of the former Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and a life member of the Carroll Rod & Gun Club.

Prior to retirement, he was the Superintendent of the foundry division at Chautauqua Hardware for many years.

He had a passion for flying and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and restoring old tractors.

Paul is survived by his wife Jeanette Ann Shawl Mason; a daughter Paulette (Lance); a son Timothy Mason; two grandchildren Jeffery Mason and Shaina (Jared) Sundlov; four great-grandchildren: Hayley Mason, Barrett Mason, Gunner Sundlov, Sterling Sundlov; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: John Mason, Virginia Josephson, Gerald Carter, Harold Carter, James Carter, and Dorothy Anderson.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes no service or visitation will be observed.

Burial will be private in Ivory Cemetery.
