Joyce M. Lusk

A lifelong area resident, she was born June 15, 1930 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Harry and Waive Saxton Sorensen.

Joyce was a graduate of Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed for Carnahan’s and the Cycle Shop in Jamestown. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Joyce was part of the college of Resents of the Moose Lodge in Jamestown.

She is survived by her two daughters: Debbie (John) McDonald of Ashville, NY; Sharon Jensen of Rochester, New Hampshire; nine grandchildren: Kristopher Jensen, Gary Jensen Jr., Jennifer McDonald-Swanson, John McDonald Jr., Brian Lusk, Andrew Lusk, Jessica Lusk, Kayla Lusk, Lexi Lusk; seven great grandchildren; a sister: Joann (William) Farr of Falconer; thanks to Clara Lowry for being a special friend.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Roy D. Lusk, three sons: Terry, Randall, and David Lusk; a grandson: Richard Jensen; brothers: Walter H. Sorensen, Eugene Sorensen; a son-in-law Gary Jensen Sr.

Visitation will not be observed.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
