Giovanna (Joanne) Picardo Colletti, 82, of 41 Sanford Drive Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 12, 1943, in Marianopoli, Sicily.
Joanne married Antonino (Tony) Colletti of over 46 years on Jan. 2, 1965, in Marianopoli, Sicily.
Joanne owned and operated the House of Pizza from 1974 to 1994. She also owned and operated Checkered Cab Company from 1994 to 2006. She was a loyal communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Joanne loved to cook and sew. She had a passion for gardening. She enjoyed the holidays with her family and friends.
Giovanna is survived by her sister, several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Carmelia Scala.
Giovanna was preceded in death by her son, Salvatore Colletti and her husband, Antonino Colletti.
Calling hours will be held on Friday June 6, 2025, from 10 AM-12 PM at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday June 6, 2025, 1 PM at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
