Emma Barton Schuver

Emma was born April 25, 1933 to Rowlan S. and Lena Holben Barton. She grew up in Mayville, NY and graduated from Mayville High School, Class of 1951. Later in life, after her children were all grown, Emma graduated from the nursing program at JCC in 1981 and received her license as a registered nurse.

Emma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She found the greatest joy being around her great-grandbabies. They always brought a big smile to her beautiful face.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Rowlan, Leroy and Lawrence Barton and a sister Nadine Barton Dudley.

Emma is survived by her four children, G. Barton (Sara Ann) Schuver of Odessa, FL, Tammie (Bill) Smith of Kentucky, Robert (Diane) Schuver of Georgia, and Pamela Lodestro of South Carolina. Also surviving are her grandchildren Nicholas (Becca) Lodestro, Megan Lodestro, G. Justin (McKenna) Schuver, Alexandra (Chuck) Lamb, Katie Smith, Josh (Kayla) Schuver and Tyler (Summer) Schuver, great grandchildren

Macie and Luke Lodestro, G. Austin and Sawyer Schuver, Charlie and Hudson Lamb. Emma is also survived by a sister, JoAnne E. Rexford of Florida.
