Clarence H. “Clair” Braley, 83, of Jamestown, died Saturday June 14, 2025, in UPMC Hamot.
Born April 25, 1942, in Sugar Grove, PA, he was the son of the late Willis and Rosella Hinsdale Braley.
He was a 1961 graduate of Eisenhower High School and was a veteran of the US Army.
Prior to his retirement in 2008, he was employed by Valeo and earlier Blackstone starting in 1982. He previously worked for Millbrook Bakeries, Dahlstrom Manufacturing and Green Brothers Lumber.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Lakewood Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving is his wife Sylvia Seager Braley, whom he married Oct., 1977; three children Kristen (Rich) Bentley, Donald Braley, and Matthew (Pam) Kubinski all of Jamestown; grandchildren Madison (Nick) Condgon, Mason Kubinski, Collin, Aubrey, and Brody Bentley all of Jamestown; great-grandchildren Avery, Leo and Levi; brothers Ralph (Dolly) Braley, and Edward (Karen) Braley; and a sister Grace Harwood.
No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
