Bobbi Cobb Palmeri

Bobbi Cobb Palmeri

Bobbi Cobb Palmeri went to be with the Lord Friday May 30, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family.

Mother of Lisa Cobb of Petaluma, CA and Lori Cobb of Jamestown; Nana of Fletcher Cobbsek, Nevan Kearney, Quinn Kearney and Owen Kearney all of Jamestown. She is also survived by brothers Richard and Ronald Morris and their families, including several cousins.

Bobbi was a 1963 graduate of Pine Valley Central School, Doyle Beauty School, and Jamestown Business College.

She was a self-employed homecare provider, and care aid at local nursing homes prior to retiring. She was a beautician as well as volunteering for various organizations. Bobbi was a devout Catholic and communicant of Holy Apostles Parish.

She loved to dance and never missed an opportunity to celebrate or take a road trip. She attended all of her grandchildren’s events and enjoyed every second of it! She was usually busy tending her garden and was recognized by GROW Jamestown on multiple occasions. She loved decorating her home, cooking delicious food, and baking the best cookies around! She was handy decades before DIY was practiced, rescuing old furniture and implementing inventive fixes around the house. She enjoyed antiques and going to sales and mostly finding treasures. She would knit or sew or create something new out of something old, which left a beautiful new creation for someone she loved. She appreciated beautiful things and places. In her quieter moments you might find her reading Patterson or watching TV, but when the Steelers were on, they could hear her excitement and disappointment in Pittsburgh. She loved photography and captured not only her loved ones, but nature as well, and her art is hung and admired. She was funny and could drop her dry lines stone-faced, leaving those around laughing till it hurt.

Family milestones were what she looked forward to the most, and she never missed an opportunity to make a new friend. She never lived anyplace she wasn’t well acquainted with all the neighbors, and she had friends at all the local places she frequented. Her family was always hearing perfect strangers declare how they loved her. She adored her pets including Shaggi, Rosie, Mojo, and Jack. She will be missed by her dearest lifelong friend, Jo Scarborough.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm Thursday in Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where friends will be received for one hour prior.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
