Beverly Louise Henry Ludwig

Beverly Louise Henry Ludwig, 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Rouse Nursing Home in Youngsville, PA.

Bev was born on June 17, 1931, in Clarendon, PA, to Edwin “Ned” Henry and Beulah Albaugh Henry (Lauffer). A 1949 graduate of Warren Area High School, she lived in Clarendon until her marriage to Keith Ludwig in 1952. Together they made their home in Warren. They were married for 57 years and raised three children: Robert L. (Stacey) Ludwig, Amy L. (Douglas) Gier, and David R. (Terri) Ludwig.

Bev was employed for many years at New Process/Blair as a keypunch operator, later transitioning to work in retail. She also enjoyed a brief time as a private caterer. A devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene for over 65 years, Bev often served as a substitute pianist or organist, taught Sunday School, and was involved with the church board.

She loved cooking, bowling, watching golf, baseball, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. Bev cherished attending class reunions and spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife and mother. Her legacy lives on through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews–each of whom she loved deeply and prayed for often.

In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Keith L. Ludwig (2008); her son, Robert L. Ludwig (2020); her sister, Wanda Hill (2021); and her brother, Terry Henry (2024).

Friends will be received at the First Church of the Nazarene, 907 Pennsylvania Avenue East, Warren, PA, on Friday, June 20, 2025, gathering from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Steve Sorensen.

In lieu of flowers, Beverly requested that memorial contributions be made to the First Church of the Nazarene Building Fund or Food Pantry.
