Ann Elliott

Ann (Canaski) (Gajewski) Elliott, born Mar. 19, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, passed away June 15, 2025. She graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary HS, Cheektowaga.

She was the loving mother of Edward (Teri Tynan) Gajewski, Tina (John) Eagleton, Bryan Gajewski, Douglas (Tammy) Gajewski; stepmother of Tom (Cher) Elliott; step grandmother to Angela, Amanda, Rebecca, Tamara, and Samantha; Cherished grandmother of Lakin Gajewski, Ashley (Tyson) Harmon, Landon Williams, Tyler (Haley) Eagleton, Spencer Eagleton, Lane Williams, Justin Gajewski, Isabella Gajewski, Jaxi (Randy) Tynan, and Brian Tynan; and great-grandmother to Ava Gajewski.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Florence Canaski; her siblings, Frank (the late Paula) Canaski, Ted Canaski, Joe Canaski, Teresa (the late Walter) Pawelczak.

She is survived by Florence (the late Gerald) Starr, Judy Canaski, Pat (Larry) Penna, Rose (the late David) Kish, Chris and Jimmy Ferril, Dina and Matt Lepovich, many dear and loving nieces, nephews, and too many friends to name.

As a devoted member of the East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ann found peace and happiness in being actively involved in Bible Studies and helping spread the Good News of God’s Kingdom to others.

Ann was very generous and loving. She enjoyed sewing rice bags for family and friends and was always happy to help anyone in need.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 4-7pm Friday, June 27, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home, 805 W Third St, Jamestown, NY.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 181 Martin Road, Jamestown, NY 14701 on June 28 at 1pm.
