Alice E. Littlefield, 101, of Stow, Ohio, formerly of Frewsburg, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in Arbors of Stow Nursing Home in Stow, Ohio.
She was born on June 18, 1924 at home in Frewsburg, a daughter of the late Edwin W. and Lorene Griffin Carlson.
Alice attended Jamestown High School.
She is a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Stow and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church.
A dedicated homemaker, she was a member of many organizations including Carroll and Kiantone Senior Citizens, Carroll Historical Society, American Legion Samuel Derby Post 556 Auxiliary, Thule Lodge 127, and the Jamestown Vikings Ingjald Lodge #65.
Alice is survived by her daughter Janet E. (James) Erickson; son Larry K. (Carol) Nelson; three grandchildren: Brian C. (Sara) Nelson, Kristen E. (Jeffrey) Gardner, Ashley L. (Doug) Hebebrand; eight great-grandchildren: Evan Gardner, Isaac Gardner, Kiera Gardner, Deacen Nelson, Jack Nelson, Cade Nelson, Clara Jo Hebebrand, and Nellie Lynne Hebebrand.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Clarence C. Chamberlin (1975), Alton J. Villiesse (1985), Leonard F. Littlefield (2001); and four brothers: Lyle E. Carlson, Leonard H. Carlson, Erwin O. Carlson, and Vernon H. Carlson.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Pastor Philip Roushey will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
Friends will be received for one hour prior (12-1pm) on Wednesday in the funeral home.
