Sandra L. “Sandy” Cusimano

She was born December 11, 1946, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Harry and Leona Hamm Spencer.

She was a graduate of Warren area High School.

Before her retirement she worked at the Blair Corporation for over 21 years and then for the Resource Center as a caregiver for several years.

Sandy enjoyed embroidering, loved to travel with her husband and never missed a family gathering.

Surviving is her niece, Faye Haugen; nephews Gerald “Butch” Lyon, Brad Lyon and Harry Lyon; her cousins Blanch Swaney of Warren, Pa., and Tonia Yaegle of Russell, Pa., who both have taken care of her for the past 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph S. Cusimano who passed away May 29, 2003, and her sister Gloria Lyon.

Special thanks to the nursing staff at Kinzua Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care they have given Sandy over the last several years.

Per Sandy’s wishes, no visitation or funeral will be held at this time.
