Pamela Wakeley

Pamela was the best mom, grammy/mimi that anyone could ask for. She raised her two children as a single parent and with her strong sense of faith, tight community bonds and overflowing love she made sure they were always provided for.

Pamela was the heart and soul of the Tiffany Wakeley Academy of Dance, where she was side by side with her daughter Tiffany for the past 17 years. Her dedication, talent, and creativity helped shape countless recitals and special events. Her presence in the center front seat, where she cheered loudly, will be profoundly missed by students, families, and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Beyond the studio, Pamela was a force of love and light within her family. She was known for the incredible birthday cakes she made for her grandchildren – each one a work of art and baked with love. Pamela was an extraordinary planner of family adventures. The trips she organized for her children and grandchildren rivaled professional tour companies, creating cherished moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. At Christmastime, she went all out, wrapping every present in custom paper and bows, creating a magical atmosphere that made the holidays unforgettable. She had a deep love for nature, especially trees, and found joy and peace in the world around her.

Pamela adored planning parties and gatherings, always infusing them with her signature creativity and warmth. Her daily Tim Horton’s coffee was a cherished routine, and she never missed a chance to brag about her children and grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure. Her life was a celebration of joy, family, tradition, and making others feel special. She encouraged her family to pursue their dreams: teaching them that anything is possible with faith, love and hard work.

Though Pamela’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in every life she touched. Her memory will continue to inspire love, compassion, celebration and fun.

She is survived by her son Chad (Kristine) Wakeley of Celoron, NY; her daughter Tiffany (Mark) Heintzman of Lakewood; her beloved grandchildren Madelyn and Ryan Wakeley, and Eden and Everly Heintzman, and sisters Brenda Adkins and Linda Reddish. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will dearly miss her.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents James Fairbanks and Delores Rowan Muscarella; her grandparents Ethel and Cecil Rowan; and her sister, Patricia Gale Fairbanks.

The Celebration of Life Ceremony for Pamela will be at 11 am Monday, June 2, 2025, at The Rock Church. Pastor Mike Quimby will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 2-5 pm Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tiffany Wakeley Academy Dance: Pamela Wakeley and Patricia Fairbanks scholarship fund.
