James A. Jungquist

Jim was born Jan. 8, 1956 to late Sherwood Jungquist Sr. and Betty Bowers, in Jamestown, NY.

Jim is survived by his wife, Laurie whom he married May 26, 1979; his daughters Jessica Jungquist and Katie Collins of Palm Bay; and siblings: Jinny Hardwick of Jasper GA, Charlie Jungquist of Lakewood, and Peg Jungquist of Lakewood; and four grandchildren: Peyton, Layla, Anthony, and Kaylin.

Jim was predeceased by his son Justin Jungquist, May 24, 2022.

Family and friends meant everything to Jim. His kind-heartedness lent a hand to those in need. He often opened his home to others needing a place to land. He was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan; card player; music festival goer; country music lover; visitor to Giltinan’s family farm in Tidioute, PA; and class reunion attendee.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In Jim’s memory, consider lending a helping hand, or give one of his jovial smiles or one of his bear hugs to someone in need.
