Gary W. Vebber

He was born June 1, 1948 in Malone, NY, son of the late Fay and Gwendolyn Vebber.

He was a 1966 graduate of Canton, NY School, enlisting in the U.S. Air Force and serving in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive 1968. After the service he enrolled at the State University of Canton, NY and received a degree in the HVAC commercial field. For the next 40 years he worked for Trane and Honeywell in project management positions.

Gary married the love of his life, Melonie Johnson, and together they had 47 wonderful years.

They had five sons between them, Fay Scott Vebber, John Joseph Vebber, Steven Phillips, Michael Phillips, and Christopher Phillips; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Gary was a super fan of the Buffalo Sabres and NASCAR. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outside on his golf cart. Gary was a kind and generous person and made many friends along life’s travels. He will be greatly missed.

Per Gary’s request, there will be no visitation or service.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
