Dawn M. Lynn

Dawn was born at the Olean General Hospital on March 21, 1960, the daughter of the late Dennis and Virginia Dorman. She married Todd Chadwick and then later married Gary Lynn, who both survive..

She graduated from Portville Central School in 1978, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Peter Perez in Salamanca. Dawn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed tending to her chickens, ducks, and gardens. Her hobbies were knitting and reading a good Amish book. Her faith was important to her; she enjoyed listening to the Bible being read aloud, and enjoyed singing at church.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Gary Lynn; her children, Keenan Chadwick, Kaija (Andrew Wood) Chadwick, Kira (Jordan) Spencer, Daman Holland, and Amanda Weilacher; 12 grandchildren; and a brother, Paul (Marla) Dorman.

She was predeceased by her parents, Dennis and Virginia, and a sister, Beth Anne Dorman.

There will be a Celebration of Dawn’s Life on July 31, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., at the Praise Fellowship Church in Russell, PA. Refreshments, snacks, and dessert will follow.
