Calvert W. Baker

He was born Oct. 29, 1940 in Jamestown, the son of the late Dr. Myron W. And Doris M. (Giddy) Baker.

Calvert was a graduate of Falconer High School and a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He is best known for his love and training of animals. Cal would often be seen in local community events with his performing animals. In his early years, his love for animals lead him to travel with a circus and also to work for a company that trained/ tamed wild animals that were then purchased by entertainers for show.

Cal loved the Lord! He was a member of New Beginning Church in Kennedy, N.Y.

Cal is survived by his sister Joan Baker-Gerner, her children, and her grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer with Reverend Mike Herdzik pastor of New Beginnings Church officiating.
