Mark Scott Colburn, a devoted family man and skilled craftsman, passed away peacefully in Erie, PA, on March 28, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on June 26, 1974, in Jamestown, NY, Mark’s life was a testament to his strength, warmth, and loving spirit.

Predeceased by his father Michael Colburn Sr., brother Michael Colburn Jr., stepmother Debra Bankhead, grandfather John Colburn, and Grandmother Alice Scott, Mark’s legacy continues through his cherished family. His wife, April Colburn, and their four sons, Sebastian Ray, Aidan Michael, Gabriel Scott, and Michael James Colburn III, will forever hold him in their hearts. His mother, Mary (Randy) Rowland; step-mother, Susie Sage-Colburn; siblings Debbie Rowland, Matt Rowland, Carrie Mozes, and Kevin Colburn; grandmother Ethel Colburn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, will miss Mark’s kindness and infectious laughter.

Mark’s early education at Pine Valley Central Schools laid the groundwork for his lifelong career in construction and paving. His dedication to his work was as strong as his commitment to his family. Mark often found joy and relaxation in playing video games. He was also known for his culinary skills, particularly in crafting delicious Mexican dishes — a love he often shared with his loved ones.

Swimming and camping were among Mark’s favorite ways to spend time with his family, creating countless cherished memories. His love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Mark’s story is one filled with love, laughter, and the precious days spent with his family. His radiant spirit and enduring love for his family will continue to guide them in the years to come.

Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83 South Dayton at Balcom Corners Saturday April 12, 2025 from 11 AM to 1PM where a funeral service will immediately follow.
