Ivan D. Sandstrom

He was born July 2, 1956, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Adrian and Emma Hillberg Sandstrom.

Ivan was a 1975 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Before his retirement he worked as a factory worker and at Bush Industries, Inc. for many years.

Ivan loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his classic cars, watching Gold Rush and listening to music.

Surviving is his wife Barbara Luce Sandstrom; his three sisters, Virginia Chase, Helen McCarty, Elaine Gregory; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Lucielle Lundquist.

The Funeral will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service from 11 am to 1pm in the funeral home.
