Harry Walker

He grew up and went to school in New Jersey. Harry joined the U.S. Navy the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed. While serving in the Navy he met a navy Nurse , Lucille McCray. They were happily married for 75 years. They raised their 3 children in Frewsburg , N,Y.. After raising their children they moved to Arizona. Then in 1994 they moved to Hawaii , built a house themselves with the help of their daughter and son-in-law. They spent the rest of their years in paradise. Every year while their health allowed, they would travel back to the mainland to visit family and friends. Many family and friends went to Hawaii to visit them and stayed in their beautiful home. Harry is survived by his daughter Mary (Ted) Stanton, Hawaii ; son Jack (Debbie) Walker , Frewsburg N.Y.; daughter Shirley (Jeff) Gibson, Oklahoma City ,Okla, ; sister-in-law Mary Gould and brother-in-law Donald McCray ; 5 grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren any many nieces and nephews and great friends. Harry was predeceased by his wife Lucille ,his parents , and his brothers and sisters and brother-in- laws and sisters-in-law. There will be no visitation or services . At the request of the family please no flowers or cards. .
