Kathy C. Danielson, 78, of Jamestown, NY, passed away peacefully on December 6 surrounded by her daughters.

Kathy was born in Brockton, MA on November 6, 1946, daughter of the late M. Roberta and Peter E Cruise, Jr. She graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School and continued her education to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from American International College in Springfield, MA.

Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael, and her sister, Nancy Cashel, of New Providence, NJ.

She is survived by her devoted daughters Michelle Arnone of Lakewood, NY and Colleen Danielson of Boston, MA. She is also survived by her son-in-law Eric Arnone, grandchildren Ethan and Allie Arnone, brother David Cruise of Pocasset, MA and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kathy was a woman of deep faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, served as a Eucharistic minister and religious educator for many years. She also gave her time to the Ashville Free Library.

Kathy was very proud of her Irish heritage and New England roots. She loved the color green and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day each March. She will be remembered for her delicious coffee cake that she enjoyed baking to celebrate those she loved, sending a greeting card for every special occasion and her ever prominent Boston accent.

Kathy was an Elementary Education teacher before moving to Western New York in the 1980s. She was a homemaker for many years, then worked at a number of places and lastly worked at Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union prior to retiring.

A memorial will be held at a future date and inurnment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
