David W. Lounsbury

A lifelong area resident he was born February 25, 1968 in Jamestown, the son of Howard T. and Mary E. Traver Lounsbury Jr.

David was a graduate of Falconer High School and was previously employed by Sam’s Club. He enjoyed playing bingo and riding his scooter. He loved his dog, Moose.

Surviving is his mother Mary E. Lounsbury of Falconer; his siblings: Donald (Nancy) Lounsbury of Chesapeake, VA, Virginia (Steve) Edwards of Panama, Elizabeth (Fred) Crowell of Chesapeake, VA, John (Laurie) Lounsbury of Weeki Wachee, FL; Aunts: Joan Crone, Tina Finch and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard T. Lounsbury Jr.; his maternal grandparents: Cameron and Georgia Traver; his paternal grandparents: Howard and Agnes Lounsbury Sr.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday (Dec. 27, 2024) in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
