Muriel Cederquist Jackson
Muriel Cederquist Jackson, 85, formerly of West Oak Hill Road, Jamestown and Chautauqua Colony, Lakewood, died Tuesday September 24, 2024, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born April 2, 1939, in Jamestown, the daughter of Walter and Elva Wilbur Cederquist.
She was a 1958 graduate of Bemus Point High School and attended Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn, MI.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and its Mission Board. In addition, she was a member of Ross Grange 305 and served on its cabinet.
Muriel loved flowers, animals and traveling.
Surviving are 2 nieces Wendy (Dean) Dake and Kelly (Luiz) Vazquez both of California; great nieces and nephews Natalie and Anthony Vazquez and Camryn and Michael Dake and several cousins.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother; a sister Barbara Shue in 2014 and a brother-in-law Sydney Shue in 2010.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Friday in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
