Mary J. Ferraro

She was born September 12, 1931, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Carmelo Ferraro and Rose Lombardo

Prior to her retirement she was employed by Giambra’s as waitress, cook and bartender.

A communicant of St. John Catholic Church, she served on the Altar and Rosay Society, sang in the choir and volunteered at several of the Italian Festivals over the years. She was also a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two children Angelo (Cynthia Nelson) Ferraro of Jamestown and Roseann (James) Narehood of Canastota, NY; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. Ferraro, a son Carmen Ferraro, two grandsons, Wayne Griffin and David Griffin, and a Great Granddaughter Zoe Conklin.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Visitation will not be observed.
