Kurt W. Town, 65, of Ashville passed away Thursday (October 3, 2024) in his home after a brief battle with cancer with his son and daughter- in-law at his side.
A lifelong area resident he was born August 10, 1959, the son of the late Harold Jr. and Marcia Town.
Kurt was a self-employed auto body mechanic most recently doing work for Litehouse Auto. He enjoyed classic cars, snowmobiles, Schwinn bicycles, RC cars and boats and constructing model cars.
Kurts true passion and joy was his granddaughter Karaline. He always looked forward to and enjoyed time spent with his “Peanut Head.”
Surviving is his son Kurt C. (Amanda) Town of Greenhurst, his granddaughter Karaline Town, his nephew Nathan (Jody) Roseman, Niece Victoria Scarantino (Brandon Crook), his brother-in- law Ross Scarantino, his Aunt Donna (John) Goldberg and his cat, “Mr. Deets.”
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Susan K. Scarantino on March 30,2023.
A private funeral service will be held in the Falconer Funeral Home.\A Celebration of Life will be held at LLAMA Club, Ashville on Sunday October 13, 2024 from 4p.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care or Chautauqua County Humane Society.
