Peter M. Hansen
Peter Martin Glad Hansen passed away quietly in his sleep on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024. He is survived by his three sons, Timothy, Robert, and Kenneth, and three granddaughters, Natasha, Amanda, and Veronica. He is also survived by his siblings, David, Arne, Anne, and Noel.
He was born Nov. 8, 1937, to Peter and Ranghild Hansen in Frewsburg, NY. A Chautauqua County resident most of his life, he will be remembered as a maker of things. His hobbies included painting, sculpting, and tinkering with all sorts of mechanical objects. Peter was kind and generous, had the gift of gab, and will be missed by those who truly knew him.
In keeping with his wishes, no services or visitation will be observed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Buffalo AKG Art Museum (Albright-Knox), 1285 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo, NY 14222.
