Ulrika R. Carlsson

Ulrika was a 1976 graduate of Randolph Central School and was a 40 plus year employee at the Resource Center in Jamestown where she was a seamstress. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Jamestown and she enjoyed long walks, collecting various items and taking care of her plants.

She is survived by a son, William R. Searle and wife Lisa, as well as their two children; Henry and Margot Searle, all of Lansing, NY, four brothers, Ingvar Carlsson of Lakewood, Gunnar Carlsson of Ellington, Sigurd Carlsson of Fort Pierce, FL, Ragnar Carlsson of Lebanon, OH; four sisters, Sylvia Freeman of Pennsylvania, Frieda Swanson of Forestville, Sigrid Wile of Pennsylvania, Elvera Carlsson of Conewango and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brother, Holger Carlsson whom died in 1949 and Danold Carlsson in 2018.

Friends will be received in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, from 11 AM – 1:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00. The Rev. Ramon Corder, pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the East Randolph Cemetery.
