Susan L. Arnold Wright

Born in Jamestown , NY March 29, 1951 the daughter of Paul and Evelyn (Shaffer) Arnold.

A Registered Nurse , Sue received her Nursing Degree from Jamestown Community College, the former Gowanda State Hospital School of Nursing in Helmuth and worked as an Assessment of Adult Patients at the State University of New York @ Buffalo.

Sue was a United States Veteran serving with the United States Navy during Desert Storm and later remaining with the Naval Reserves. Her military time spanned nearly 10 years . Sue was a Naval Unit Commander with the nursing unit in Texas and New York.

Sue retired from the American Red Cross where she worked out of Buffalo on the Mobile Unit of the Red Cross. She worked for the Red Cross for nearly 20 years .

Survivors include 3 grandchildren; Ethan E. Wright, Zachary R. Wright, and Delaney M. Wright all of Gowanda along with Susan’s daughter in-law and mother of her grandchildren Kimberly (Westburg) Wright. Sue is also survived by a brother Thomas ( Kathleen) Arnold of IL. and nephews Ryan and Sean Arnold .

Besides her parents Sue was preceded in death by her twin sons ; Kevin T. Wright (May 11, 2018) and Douglas M. Wright (September 11, 2021), along with a brother Douglas Arnold .

A private family graveside burial will take place in Jamestown, NY
