Stephanie L. Lampropolos

She was born August 21, 1946, in Greensburg, PA, the daughter of the late Louis and Constance Polis Lampropolos.

Stephanie was a 1964 graduate of Johnstown High School. She continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her bachelor’s degree and at West Virginia University earning her master’s degree.

Before her retirement she worked as the director of social services for the Salvation Army for over 10 years.

Stephanie was an avid reader, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and was an animal lover, always having cats in her home. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church for many years.

Surviving are her two sisters: Elaine and Georgia Lampropolos both of Lakewood, and her good friend Linda Beck of Lakewood.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George McCracken Lampropolos.

In keeping with Stephanie’s wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed at this time.
