Sarah Elizabeth Kinney

She was born May 3, 1953 in Westfield, the daughter of the late Orr O. Kinney and Leah (Maher) Kinney.

She attended Randolph Central School and last worked for the Lutheran Home and Rehab in Jamestown, earlier on, she worked at the Gowanda Electronics, JN Adams Developmental Agency in Gowanda and drove school bus at Cattaraugus High School.

She was raised Baptist and enjoyed horses, crocheting, knitting, cooking and animals.

She is survived by a son; Glenn O. (Sue Slavins) Watson of Springfield, MO., a sister; Ann (Rich) Stakelum of Kennedy, a grand-daughter; Leah Watson and a great grandson; Braven Watson, as well as two nephews; Logan Stakelum of Waxhaw, NC and Tyler Stakelum of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by parents, Orr and Leah and her step-mother, Doris Kinney.

As per Sarah’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Van Rensselaer and Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
