A memorial service for Rev. David A. Potts, 68, of Jamestown, who died July 25, 2024, will be held at 3 pm Sunday in First Covenant Church where friends will be received from 1:30-3 pm just prior to the service.
Rev. Potts led congregations in the states of Pennsylvania, Washington, Connecticut, New York, and Florida.
Surviving are two children Aaron Potts and Annemarie Potts; two sisters Carolyn Potts and Linda (Bob) Walrod and a sister-in-law Cheryl Potts.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife the Rev. Jan Hallstrom Potts, in 1998 and a brother Barclay “Skip” Potts, Jr.
Memorials may be made “In memory of David Potts” to Camp Mission Meadows, 5201 East Lake Rd, Dewittville, NY 14728.
